Merchandiser Travel Retail Ser Lead General Information Company: ACO-US Location: SHAWNEE, Kansas, 66203 Ref #: 69761 Pay Rate: $ 17.00 Experience/skills and/or location may influence position wage rate Function: Merchandising Employment Duration: Full-time Benefits: + Medical, dental and vision insurance + Company-paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability + 401k program + Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) program Description and Requirements Merchandiser Travel Retail Ser Lead is responsible for representing Acosta, our clients, and our customers by effectively leading a team and performing reset and remodel work including, but not limited to, the proper implementation of plan-o-grams, new item placement, void corrections, and special merchandising activity. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, quick learner, has a strong attention to detail, and works well in a team or independent situation. They must possess excellent organizational skills, strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with business partners. What will you do? u00b7Serve as a team lead in the organization and execution of reset and remodel work. Effectively partner with store personnel for the scheduling and communication of reset and remodel work u00b7Read and follow a plan-o-gram to effectively complete reset and remodel work. Have a working knowledge of merchandising and retail terminology u00b7Partner with store personnel and co-workers to achieve and maintain merchandising excellence, discuss changes, and build an effective working relationship u00b7Effectively and accurately prepare, process, submit, and manage documentation related to assigned reset and remodel work. u00b7Perform job safely by demonstrating full awareness of his/her surroundings. Utilize proper safety techniques and equipment use when necessary. Be proactive in alerting management to any unsafe act or condition to prevent injuries u00b7Understand and follow all Acosta Policies and standard operating procedures u00b7Other duties as assigned. Qualifications u00b7High School Diploma/GED u00b7Some experience may be substituted for some of the above education. u00b73+ yearu2019s supervisory / management experience with the authority to direct and or oversee the employeeu2019s daily work activities u00b73+ yearu2019s Customer Service experience preferred. u00b7Prior sales agent, retail and reset responsibility experience preferred Possess excellent organizational skills, strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with business partners u00b7Comfortable utilizing Technology (i.e., smartphones, computer, copier/fax, and handheld devices) u00b7Strong demonstration of the following core competencies: u00b7Quality Commitment Maintain quality standards that meet and/or exceed expectations u00b7Detail Oriented Ensure work accuracy u00b7Customer Service Provide a level of service to customer concerns. u00b7Communication Skills Ability to communicate effectively u00b7Effective ability to work accurately with web-based applications to indicate work availability, check work assignments, accept work assignments, receive work documentation and information, record work start and completion times, record work mileage, record work expenses, record work time and attendance, and complete training activities be willing and able to work in cold environmental conditions (i.e., refrigerated and freezer sections of retail stores) for limited periods of time u00b7Must possess strong interpersonal, organizational, decision-making and leadership skills. Must be able to read and communicate effectively with others u00b7Must have a valid driveru2019s license and be able to drive in a car for extended periods of time u00b7Travel is required, with overnight stays up to 75 - 100% of the time. Occasional weekend work would also be required. u00b7Tr Due to travel program requirements, this role requires employees to be at least 21 years of age to obtain the necessary credentials for travel.
