Job Title: Sealant Application Specialist Job Description This role involves applying sealant on polymer parts while adhering to safety and manufacturing procedures. The position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to read measurements accurately. The successful candidate will work collaboratively in a team environment and be comfortable recognizing deviations from standard practices. Responsibilities + Apply sealant on polymer parts using the appropriate equipment. + Use production equipment and tools, such as calipers and scales, regularly. + Ensure materials handling and recordkeeping comply with company and ISO standards. + Follow internal safety policies and procedures at all times. + Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area, including setup and cleanup at the start and end of each shift. + Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or managers. Essential Skills + Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. + Proficiency in reading a tape measure. + Experience using hand tools to fabricate parts. + Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in a production line environment. + Hand dexterity and finishing skills. + Skilled in using measuring equipment like calipers, depth gauges, and micrometers. + A combination of relevant education and experience is acceptable in lieu of specific educational requirements. Work Environment Work in a dynamic manufacturing environment with variable conditions, including temperature instability and exposure to fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, or vapors. Be prepared for the use of respirators due to strong smells and exposure to solvents and industrial chemicals. The role requires maintaining a neat and organized workspace. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mcminnville, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.30 - $20.00/hr.
