You will oversee an engineering team of three total including you at a 370,000 square foot Class A office building in downtown Seattle. This position requires the Chief Engineer to be on-site. Local market requirements may vary slightly.Schedule: Day Shift Monday to FridayWHAT YOU'LL DOOversee the maintenance and continuous operation of all building systemsSupervise and manage engineers and maintenance staff including hiring, training, coaching and personal developmentCreate and routinely update a documented plan that includes preventive, predictive and reactive maintenance proceduresParticipate regularly in client-facing and property team communicationsLead, create and manage engineering budget and participate in overall operating budget processAssist in the development of a capital improvement planSelect, schedule, supervise and direct contractors; monitor and document performanceRespond effectively to emergencies and service callsLead and organize ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs and proceduresOther duties as requested by property management team and/or clientWHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE7+ years of related experience, especially as a Chief Engineer or similarPeople management experience (leading a team)Trade school education, union training, military service or college is desirableUniversal CFC EPA certificationExperience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)Ability to lift up to 50 lbsComfort using ladders up to 30 feet tallAbility to frequently climb, bend, kneeling, lift and/or driveStrong customer service and communication skillsWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOUJoin an industry leader and shape the future of commercial real estateDeep investment in cutting-edge technology to power your workComprehensive and competitive benefits planA supportive, caring and diverse work environment designed for your growth and well-beingThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
