This position is well-suited for a talented, experienced individual who is interested in being a leader and contributing to innovative and challenging projects involving contaminated site assessment and remediation, including the financial and technical evaluations, permitting, and implementation stages. We operate under a sell-manage-do culture, and so we expect that you'd work on challenging technical projects while leveraging your existing knowledge and experience to help Geosyntec expand its current practices and capabilities through business development, client management, and strong project management responsibilities. Some of the key responsibilities may include:Task and project management, including planning and implementing investigation and remediation projects, budgeting and budget management, adherence to schedule, quality, client satisfaction, and profitability.Evaluate contaminated sites and develop investigation and remediation approaches, including remedial investigations, feasibility studies, removal action work plans, and remediation design plans under state and federal cleanup programs.Lead the development of work plans, data evaluation, and cost-benefit analyses.Implement remedial pilot tests and systems, including vendor selection, logistical coordination, permitting, and supervision of field teams.Write technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals; oversee and review documents prepared by project teams.Build a portfolio of clients by winning new clients and obtaining repeat business from existing clients, leading proposal preparation, and executing a personal business development plan.Foster trust-based relationships with clients, regulatory personnel, and other project stakeholders.Mentor, guide, and motivate early career staff assigned in the areas of project performance, including technical tasks listed above, client expectations and career development; work with employees to correct deficiencies.At times, this position may also include fieldwork including site visits, multi-media environmental sampling and characterization, drilling oversight, contractor oversight, and remediation system operations, maintenance, and construction.Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed.Education and LicensureBachelor's degree
