Workers must be visually ablebodied and able to lift at least 50 lbs.Sanitation Requirements: For food and general personal safety purposes,all workers will be required and expected to follow common sanitarypractices at all times. Employees are required to cleanse their hands bywashing them thoroughly with soap and water after using the bathroom andbefore entering the fields for Nursery activities.GENERAL CONDITIONS APPLICABLE: Field work begins at assigned time, whichcan vary from either before daylight or shortly after daylight, toafternoon start times. Work environment will be dirty,dusty, and damp, with temperature fluctuations according to the season.Work is performed during light rain and in high humidity and intemperatures ranging from 100+ degrees to below 35 degrees F. Workersmust have multi-limb coordination ability while standing, walking, andclimbing for long periods while pruning and harvesting. Workers willwork on their feet in bent position for long periods of time. Workerswill supply their own work clothes. Workers must be able to lift up to50 lbs. consistently throughout the day. Workers will make repetitivemovements, extensive pushing, pulling, and walking. Workers may berequired to perform work on the farm that is incidental to farming thecrops listed in the application.The employer retains the right to discharge an obviously unqualifiedworker, malingerer or recalcitrant worker who is physically able to butdoes not demonstrate the willingness to perform the work necessary forthe employer to grow a premium quality product.Must be able to maintain work area and housing area clean and safe forthemselves and other. Workers shall promptly report any problems withrelated work issues, concerns along with housing issues and concern.Worker will be respectful and mindful of individuals, personal property,company equipment, and companies property. Use of alcohol and drugs isprohibited on any sites and pany has the right to terminate any employee. If housing is provided,housing will not be destroyed, unassembled, moved, changed without anyauthorization of management. Workers may not take unauthorized breaksfrom work. Workers have a right to take reasonable breaks to use fieldsanitation facilities, including drinking water, toilet facilities, andhand washing facilities. Workers should notify their supervisor whentaking an unscheduled break. It is mandatory that all workers punch inand out at the start and end of day, including lunch breaks. No smokingin work areas nor housing.
