As Director of Sales, you will lead the property?s sales strategy anddrive performance across all revenue-generating segments. Reporting tothe General Manager and working closely with Pyramid?s regional salesand revenue leaders, you will balance direct selling with teamleadership. This is a hands-on, results-driven role on the ExecutiveCommittee, with responsibility for maximizing business travel, group,and catering revenue in one of Boston?s most competitive markets. We?resupporting a major repositioning effort at Wyndham Boston Beacon Hill,an established property undergoing a full renovation, rebranding to aHilton's Tapestry Collection, and strategic shift in market identity.This is a unique opportunity for a sales leader to step into ahigh-visibility project and play a central role in redefining thehotel?s presence in Boston?s core urban market. The incoming Director ofSales will partner directly with corporate leadership throughout therenovation timeline, drive a new commercial strategy, and help relaunchthe property as a Tapestry Collection hotel, positioning, andperformance expectations. Ideal for a creative, forward-thinking leaderexcited by change-management, pre-opening style work, and repositioningan urban asset in one of Boston?s most competitive markets. -Oversee allsales activities for the hotel, with focus on group, business travel,and catering segments. -Develop and execute an annual Sales BusinessPlan aligned with hotel revenue goals. -Proactively solicit new accountsthrough prospecting, site visits, tradeshows, and relationshipdevelopment. -Maintain and grow existing accounts, particularly in thecorporate, medical, and group segments. -Collaborate with RevenueManagement to deploy effective yield strategies and optimize market mix.-Lead, train, and mentor the sales team, setting performance goals andholding team members accountable. -Build strong community and marketpartnerships, including with MGH, area universities, and Boston tourismorganizations. -Deliver clear reporting to ownership and corporateleadership, with actionable insights to guide strategy. -Activelyparticipate as a member of the Executive Committee, contributing to thehotel?s overall business planning and success. -Minimum 5 years ofprogressive hotel sales experience, with at least 2 years in aleadership role (Associate/Director of Sales or Senior Sales Manager) ata full-service branded hotel. -Proven success driving business travel,group, and catering revenues in competitive urban markets; Boston/NewEngland experience strongly preferred. -Hands-on leader with a strongtrack record in direct selling and account development. -Proficiency inhotel sales systems (Delphi/FDC required), and familiarity with PMS andRMS platforms. -Strong communication, presentation, and negotiationskills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders. -High-energy,driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced, competitive salesenvironment.
