2nd Shift Supervisor - Production (Full-Time)Hours: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM to 9:00/10:00 PMStarting Pay: $20/hr+, depending on experienceReports to: Kitchen Manager About the RoleHerculean Prepared Meals is looking for a motivated and dependable 2nd Shift Supervisor to lead a small production team (3-5 people) during our afternoon/evening operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys leadership, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to grow within a local company that values initiative, teamwork, and continuous improvement.This role is hands-on: youll work alongside your team, assign tasks, maintain workflow, uphold quality standards, and ensure each shift runs smoothly from start to finish.------------------------------------------------------------------------ Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise a 3-5 person production team during the 2nd shift.- Assign daily tasks, set priorities, and adjust staffing based on workflow.- Maintain quality and consistency of all products following company standards.- Boost team morale and model a positive, collaborative work environment.- Train new team members on processes, safety procedures, and quality expectations.- Monitor production output, track progress, and communicate any issues to the Kitchen Manager.- Ensure safe working conditions, including proper freezer procedures.- Assist with hands-on production tasks including assembling meals, packing, moving materials, and organizing inventory.- Support continuous improvement, offering suggestions for smoother, safer, and more efficient production.------------------------------------------------------------------------ Requirements- Experience supervising or leading a team preferred (production or food industry experience a plus).- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively motivate people.- Willingness to work in and out of a walk-in freezer throughout the shift.- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for most of the shift.- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive tasks.- Reliable, punctual, and solutions-focused.- Familiarity with food safety or production environments helpful (ServSafe or similar certification preferred but not required).- Experience with pallet jacks or basic material handling preferred but not required.------------------------------------------------------------------------ Who Thrives HereWere a local company that operates with the mindset of a growing organization.
