JOB REQUIREMENTS: Emmons & Olivier Resources, Inc. (EOR) is seeking aPermitting and Compliance Manager to join our Ecology practice. EOR isan engineering and environmental consulting firm that specializes in:WATER (watersheds + water resources), ECOLOGY (ecosystems + naturalresources) and COMMUNITY (civil engineering, landscape architecture +planning). Brief Description:The Permitting and Compliance Manager will be responsible for leadingand managing environmental compliance, and permitting and regulatorystrategies for diverse multidisciplinary projects. The ideal candidatewill be able to effectively manage time and resources in a fast-pacedenvironment. The ideal candidate must thrive in a small companyenvironment, which requires a well-rounded skill set, the ability tobalance time-sensitive tasks for multiple clients, and the desire toexplore new and innovative projects and solutions. Candidate should bedetail orientated and able to work both independently andcollaboratively with large teams. Responsibilities Regulatory expertiseand guidance monitor and interpret federal, state, and localenvironmental regulations Project Management effectively managemulti-disciplinary projects and teams. Staff Supervision provide forstaff growth through nurturing team leadership in a respectful,collaborative environment that promotes individual professional growthand positive team spirit. Group growth assist the group in developingand implementing a strategic plan for the market including short andlong-term action plans and financial goals. Client relationshipsdevelop, manage, and maintain client relationships. Business Developmentlead the compliance, regulatory and permitting initiatives to help growthe practice. The annual salary for this position is expectedto range between $80,000 to $130,000. Additionally, there is thepotential for an end-of-year bonus based upon company profitability.Benefit Information Regular full-time employees will have access to:Medical and dental plans HSA with employer contribution Employer paidshort-term and long-term disability Employer paid life insurance andAD&D insurance Employee Assistance Programs (EAD) Paid time off(vacation, sick, fixed holidays, floating holidays, volunteer) 401k planwith employer contribution Education and Professional Developmentsupport OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in EnvironmentalScience, Environmental Engineering, Natural Resources Anthropology oranother physical/biological science field or similar Minimum 7 years ofenvironmental compliance experience within A&E consulting industry 5+years of experience managing client relationships and leadingmulti-disciplinary compliance projects Experience with environmentalreview, due diligence, and permitting under various State and Federalprograms including state environmental review programs (ie MEPA), NEPA,Section 404 of the Clean Water Act, Section 106 of the National HistoricPreservation Act, and/or state/federal endangered species programsExperience conducting and overseeing wetland delineations, culturalresource surveys, ecological/protected species assessments, and/or PhaseI/Phase II environmental site assessments Must have strong analyticaland problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communicationskills, specifically for explaining regulatory concepts to bothtechnical and non-technical audiences Demonstrated ability to work as aneffective team leader High level of attention to detail Must beproficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access,SharePoint) Education/Experiences Preferred: Master's Degree inEnvironmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Natural Resources,Anthropology or another physical/biological science field or similarAbility to operate various types of GPS equipment APPLICATIONINSTRUCTIONS: Apply Online:
