Position Description The Brazer will be responsible forassembling and joining copper and other metal components using brazingtechniques to ensure the integrity and efficiency of our coolingsystems. This position requires precision, attention to detail, andadherence to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced productionenvironment. Key Responsibilities Perform brazing and soldering ofcopper, brass, and other metal components in the fabrication of chillerassemblies. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technicaldrawings to ensure proper assembly. Set up, adjust, and operate brazingtorches and related equipment to achieve strong, leak-proof spect joints for quality assurance, ensuring all work meets companyand industry standards. Work closely with welders, assemblers, andquality control teams to maintain production efficiency and accuracy.Follow all safety protocols, including the proper handling of torches,gases, and other hazardous materials. Maintain a clean and organizedwork area, ensuring compliance with 5S and lean manufacturingprinciples. Identify and report any defects, material shortages, orequipment malfunctions to the supervisor or maintenance team.Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance product qualityand manufacturing processes. Required Education & Qualifications HighSchool Diploma or GED Equivalent required Requires the use of fairlycomplicated drawings, mathematics, variety of precision measuringinstruments; some trade knowledge.
