Summary The Malcom Randall VA Medical Center is currently seeking a full-time Physician to join the North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System (NF/SGVHS) Specialty Care Service, as a well-rounded Gastroenterologist to serve at the Jacksonville Outpatient Clinic (OPC), in Jacksonville, Florida. Responsibilities This is an open continuous announcement that will remain open until filled. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis. This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. Overseeing the administration of conscious sedation. Performing standard GI procedures such as EGD (gastroscopy), colonoscopies, and other procedures. Diagnose, treat, and manage patients with gastrointestinal diseases according to standard, usual, and acceptable methods, and techniques. Work in collaboration with gastroenterology advanced practice provider(s) throughout the North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Healthcare System. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (Note: Work schedules are determined and approved by the supervisor. The incumbent may be required to work various shifts on a permanent or temporary basis based on facility/patient care needs).
