Operator II - Bluffton, IN ADM AnimalNutrition This is a full-time, hourly position. POSITION SUMMARY: The role of Operator II will be responsible for the following duties: Assist with operating machinery as needed for production and bagging demands Conduct ongoing cleaning/housekeeping tasks Operate forklifts and other equipment on property Stack bags efficiently and safely Pick orders, load and unload product Assess inventory to ensure proper delivery to customers Other responsibilities as assigned by management QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered for an opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria: Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture and understand/follow company safety procedures High School Diploma or equivalent Forklift experience Exhibit consistent, prompt attendance Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), lift up to 55 lbs. unassisted, shovel material and operate a vacuum Possess a valid driver’s license and have access to reliable transportation Possess strong math aptitude and be familiar with basic computer skills Maintain a positive and respectful attitude at all times. SCHEDULE: This is an hourly position. Shift is nights, primarily 10-6, with some overtime required as needed. Demonstrate initiative to work independently on given assignments while remaining flexible enough to work within team setting. EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENT: All other PPE will be provided by the plant.
