Ensures compliance with nutritional, dining, and regulatory standards.Roles and Responsibilities Provides and supports improved resident service through culinary training, menu development by food and beverage preparation, fostering a resident choice philosophy. Provides leadership and campus specific guidelines to improve resident services and culinary training that parallels menu objectives and associated food and beverage preparation. Provides direct hands-on support with in-service training and identifies action plans reports to ensure high quality dining services. Manages Dining Services policy and procedures that ensure compliance with nutritional, dietary, and regulatory standards. Conducts audits and inspections as needed and reports to the AVP & VP of Culinary. Achieves tactical goals to measurably improve resident and team member satisfaction and support cross-disciplined initiatives. Manages food and beverage specifications and quality initiatives in conjunction with Health Campus dining services leadership to ensure applicable standards are met. Ensures that compliance and requirements relative to Certified Dietary Management and ServSafe throughout all health campuses. Assists with the development and evaluation of regular and therapeutic diets, including texture of foods and liquids to meet the specialized needs of residents. Assists with the budget and purchase of food and supplies and food preparation service and storage. Provides compassionate leadership to exceed standards in food and the overall dining experience. Executes in-service training as defined by action plan standards or specifically identified Health Campus needs. Integrates and maintains standards for dining room presentation and food and beverage quality. Cultivates Dining Services and supports inter-departmental efforts to achieve goals and objectives. Other duties as assigned.QualificationsEducation: Associate DegreeExperience: 3-5 yearsLicenses and CertificationsServSafe Certificate requiredCDM (Certified Dietary Manager) preferredPhysical RequirementsSitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
