Fluor has provided engineering, procurement, and construction services for more than 100 years. The Global Compensation Director will be an integral part of the Compensation COE team. This role is in our Irving, TX Headquarters where our team enjoys a hybrid / work-from-home flexibility. The candidate must be in the DFW metropolitan area. We are currently hiring a high impact Global Compensation Director to lead global compensation within Fluoru2019s Compensation Center of Expertise (COE). This position will be an integral part of the Global Compensation team and provide world class services to our internal clients around the world, effectively manage projects, and administer ongoing programs. This position will support Fluoru2019s compensation strategy by proactively leading the global salary and bonus planning programs in addition to managing the execution of various variable pay programs throughout the world. This position will interact with global HR counterparts and management regularly. Candidates should have strong customer service and communication skills. This position includes work requiring the consistent exercise of discretion and independent judgement with respect to matters of significance. The ideal individual will: u2022 Lead Fluoru2019s Global Compensation function as a member of the Compensation COE Leadership Team including leading the regional Compensation Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) u2022 Lead the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs including annual salary review and short-term incentive programs globally u2022 Assess labor markets and key business needs to develop pay strategies that balance global competitiveness with cost effectiveness u2022 Develop and implement communication and education strategy for effective promotion of the global compensation programs u2022 Lead compensation projects and initiatives involving cross-functional collaboration with significant strategic and fiscal impact u2022 Oversee vendor management with data management systems u2022 Build a strong network to partner with HR Business Partners, HR Operations, Legal, and Audit u2022 Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and global HR business partners on compensation matters u2022 Oversee global salary survey process, salary structures, and job architecture u2022 Oversee global compensation policies and procedures u2022 Monitor global compensation trends and regulations, staying abreast of applicable legislation u2022 Manage and coach global compensation staff ensuring their growth and development u2022 Execute other duties, projects and assignments as required Basic Job Requirements u2022 Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and eighteen (18) years of work-related experience u2022 Subject matter expertise in global compensation u2022 Advanced Microsoft Excel skills u2022 Detail oriented u2013 exceptional attention to detail u2022 Data savvy - ability to investigate and resolve data discrepancies Other Job Requirements u2022 Minimum of 10 years in a Global Compensation role u2022 Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team to achieve operational and strategic goals u2022 Proven experience developing and executing communication strategies to promote global compensation programs, ensuring clarity, consistency, and employee engagement across diverse regions Preferred Qualifications u2022 An advanced degree such as Master of Business Administration (MBA) u2022 Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation. u2022 Experience working with SAP, Oracle, SuccessFactors, and WTW Compensation Software u2022 Knowledge of cultures and cross-cultural collaboration u2022 Ability to build trusting relationships, gain credibility, and partner with leaders and peers u2022 Ability to achieve results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and deadlines We are an equal opportunity employer. Market Rate Statement: The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidateu2019s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
