Spend Management Data Analyst Job ID: R-48538 Job Type: Full time Location: Shawnee Mission, Kansas Save Job Saved Job Position Summary / Career Interest:This position is responsible for providing data insights and custom analytics to support all areas of Spend Management. This role requires a thorough understanding of supply chain processes and data integrations between multiple source systems. The Data Analyst will utilize this data and create analytical scenarios, KPIs, and visuals to improve outcomes, drive savings, and create operational improvements and efficiencies. This role will also work cross functionally across various department to develop a collaborative environment.Responsibilities and Essential Job FunctionsSupport initiatives through data analysis and the development of data visualizationsAssists in the planning and design of data analytic projectsContribute to continuous improvement projects by developing tools and standard templatesAssists with defining data standards and definitionsLeads discussions with cross functional teams on the results of projects and data analysisProduce financial analysis for cost savings initiativesGather data and produce accurate and timely analytics for department leadersServe as a subject matter expert on supply chain analytics tools and methodologiesMust be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.These statements are intended to describe the essential functions of the job and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned as required.Required Education and ExperienceBachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field of study from an accredited college or university.2 or more years of experience working in a supply chain environment2 or more years of experience in data analysis and structured report writing in a healthcare environment2 or more years of experience working with Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO), tier structures and contract complianceKnowledge RequirementsSuperior communication and presentation skills.Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and efficiently with varying deadlines and levels of importance.Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite with a focus on Excel.Proficient with database building and maintenance.Ability to work within a team or individually for project completion.Workday ERP knowledge.Operational Inventory knowledge.Health System item master knowledge.
