CNC Setup ProgrammerNolte Precise ManufacturingCincinnati, OHCompany Vision: To be an industry expert for supplying precision machined components and assemblies to OEMs in the U.S.A.Primary Job Duties:u2022 Coordinating purchase of required tooling and work holding.u2022 Designing special tooling as required.u2022 Troubleshooting and coordination with engineers and operators for processing problems.u2022 Coordinating with maintenance manager for machine problems.u2022 Use CAD/CAM/Manual programming to create CNC programming.u2022 Assist in introducing new parts.u2022 Assist in quoting new business.u2022 Transfers and/or downloads programs to CNC machine control.u2022 Follow layout to properly arrange and set cutting tools to be used.u2022 Install work holding devices, part ejectors and other necessary accessories as specified.u2022 Instructs operators or other workers in machine setup and operation.u2022 May set up machines for other workers.u2022 Complete daily maintenance and 5S standards.u2022 Communicate work status.u2022 Follow policies and procedures, Vision, Values, Principles, and Philosophies.u2022 Maintain acceptable attendance.u2022 Any specifically assigned tasks.Knowledge & Skill Requirements:u2022 A proven track record in processing, programming and setup of CNC machines.u2022 Ability to adjust tools and other machine components, adjust the position of work piece or material, set controls, and verify accuracy of machine capabilities, properties of materials, and shop practices.u2022 Must be able to use tools, equipment, and work aids, such as precision gauges and measuring instruments to determine the quality of a part or program.u2022 Demonstrated competency in various materials, tooling and processes.u2022 Have excellent mechanical and problem-solving skills.u2022 Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, team environment.u2022 Must be able to gather information on job processes and report back to management with process improvements.u2022 Must possess strong math skills in algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.u2022 Must possess advanced manual programming and advanced blueprint reading skills, including GD&T.u2022 Technical School certificate/degree preferred.Physical Requirements:u2022 Lifting up to 50lbs, including bending, twisting, crouching, etc.u2022 Must be able to stand for 10 hour work shiftu2022 Must be able to work with oils/coolantsu2022 Must be able to work in noisy environmentMRA is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer
