We are seeking a full-time RVT to join our Neuro team About the Role:u00a0 + Solid technical skills and anesthesia knowledge base, sound judgment, and the ability to function both independently and with a team are requiredu00a0 + MRI experience preferred but not mandatory + Advanced hard skills: Venipuncture; IV catheter placement; medication calculations and administration; digital radiography; patient prep and recovery; epidural administration; anesthesia monitoring for a variety of anesthetized procedures including, but not limited to, CT and MRIu00a0 + Assisting doctors during patient appointments, providing outstanding client communication and educationu00a0 + Performing sterile scrub and assisting doctors throughout surgical proceduresu00a0 + Advocating for the patient, providing exceptional comfort, diagnostic, surgical, and nursing care to all patientsu00a0 + Knowledge of the equipment and materials used and their availability and applicationsu00a0 + Ability to worku00a0holidays/weekendsu00a0and OT as neededu00a0 Schedule:u00a0 + Full-Time, Day Shift, No weekends + Flexible availability needed Compensation:u00a0 + Credentialed Technician (RVT) or equivalent experience range: up to $48u00a0hourly + $5.50/hr differential paid for any hours worked between 6pm - 6am Ideal candidate:u00a0 + Activeand current license in the state of CA + Minimum 2 yearsu2019 experience in the veterinary field withanesthesia experience a mustu00a0 + Strong communication skills, verbal and written; organizational skills; proactive thinking and a positive attitude are also a mustu00a0 + Accuracy in calculating and delivering anesthetic agents, fluids, and CRIsu00a0 + Proficiency in record keeping related to medical procedures including daily treatments administered, patient status, procedures completed, supplies used, and anesthetic recordsu00a0 + Review and understanding of all medical records pertinent to patient careu00a0 + Comprehensive understanding and experience with anesthetic monitoring is requiredu00a0 + Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and a commitment to developing long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community is requiredu00a0 + Maintain a positive outlook and ability to work well in stressful situationsu00a0 + The ability to deliver exceptional client service is a priority.u00a0 Benefits: + Highly competitive and comparable wages based on experience and skill set. + Competitive Vet Assistant and RVT CE allowance annually + License application and renewal reimbursement for RVTu2019s + Financial support and onsite mentorship toward pursuit of VTS + Health and wellness programsu00a0 + Opportunities for growth and advancementu00a0 + Full-time benefitsu00a0include health, dental, vision, disability and life insurances, flex-spending accounts, 401(k), Employee Assistance Program, 3 weeks accrued paid time off, and uniforms Ethos Veterinary Health is at the forefront of innovation and world-class medicine.
