POSITION SUMMARYU.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., brings together more than 100 years of experience as an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants to independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships.Schedule for this position is Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM or until job is complete, plus rotating Saturday's. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESAs a Dispatch Supervisor, you will:Highly competitive wages starting at $28.00/hrProvides leadership to assigned personnel through effective goal setting, performance reviews, delegation, and communication. Provides measurable feedback, suggestions for improved performance and recognition for achievements.Conducts interviews, hiring and training as necessary.Supports the safety programs to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain a safe working environment for all associatesAssists with process improvement initiatives.Conducts regular meetings to ensure that personnel are well informed of policies and procedures. Continually enforces productivity standards.Ensure excellent customer service and communicationEnsure drivers are completing all required daily paperwork:Driver hours log (when needed)Pre-trip inspection sheetDriver's vehicle inspection reportDaily vehicle mileage and fuel reportEnsure all paperwork is submitted promptly to corporate officeDispatch:Assign product to be pulled by material handlersRoute paperwork/product to appropriate areaEnsure drivers are completing customer returns within 3 days of creationCollect COD logs on a daily basis to ensure cash and checks are being collectedCommunicate to CSR's, Sales, Customers, Other locations and Drivers effectivelyFleet:Monitor state and federal DOT regulationsEnsure all PM's are being performed on a regular basisEnsure all repairs are performed in order to stay compliant with federal regulationsAssist drivers in making proper arrangements when a break down occursCoordinate Smith Training for driversOperate power equipment, including fork-liftMay work as a backup driver as assigned or directedPhysical Demands and Work Environment:Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk, hear, taste and/or smell; the employee must occasionally lift products weighing up to approximately 80 pounds. Handling of tires (e.g., rolling, destacking, team lifting) greater than approximately 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.Protective equipment required: steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, harness, seatbelt, SRL (self-retracting lifeline). All equipment is provided by U.S. AutoForce except for steel / composite toe boots.Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Fumes associated with tires and occasionally car parts and lubricants prevalent.QUALIFICATIONS3 years of related experienceSkills and experience sufficient to supervise drivers and material handlersKnowledge of state and federal DOT regulationsKnowledge of or ability to learn computer systemsWilling to work overtime or flexible hours on short noticeGood memory and scanning abilitiesGood communication and math skillsAble to lift up to 80lbs.Able to learn to use a forkliftRequires valid drivers license and good dri
