Bcforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.Expected Duration: 6 MonthsJob Type: ContractPay Range $60- $62/hrPlease note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).Summary:We are seeking a highly organized, process oriented, detail driven Project Manager to lead a complex, fast paced, multi-workstream device portfolio assortment planning initiative. This role spans across Consumer Sales Organization (CSO), Device Partner Sales (DPS), Silicon partners, and Regional leads. You will be responsible for supporting a comprehensive device assortment process plan, including device collection readiness to the CCS field and retail partners, communication of device collection changes and device assortment tracking: forecast, results & analysis to ensure successful delivery of strategic assortment plans that drive business impactResponsibilities: Collection & Hero Device List Management: Maintain Collection & Hero Device lists in alignment with DPS and Business Groups. Ensure global clarity across CSO - Category & CCPM on Collection & Hero device lists, maintaining a change management process & communication plan. Support Field & Retail readiness across Collection & Hero devices both direct and through our R3 Portfolio Assortment leads. Identify, document, and coordinate additional resource needs (e.g., Partner/Field ready content, QA, trackers). Device Assortment Performance Tracking: Create and maintain templates & processes for Retailer assortment planning, line logic & heatmaps adjusting to business needs. Support rollout (materials & training) of new assortment frameworks, tools, and processes. Support tracking and analysis of device collections & hero device assortment plans, results & insights/learnings - weekly & monthly views for DM12 Top Retailers. Create executive-level dashboards and summaries that highlight progress, risks, and key decisions. Conduct lookbacks and calibrations to inform future assortment, promo, mix and volume decisions. Consolidate and publish core content updates (e.g., presentations, scorecards, newsletters). Cross-Functional Program Management: Lead and coordinate multi-workstream project teams across global stakeholders. Develop and maintain detailed project plans with milestones, deliverables, and risk mitigation strategies. Facilitate regular status meetings and provide transparent reporting on progress and blockers. Identify opportunities to streamline assortment planning workflows and tooling. Resolve project issues, escalate risks, and drive continuous improvement.Required: 5+ years MSFT experience Experience in Consumer Retail, Silicon and/or Devices Partners engagement. 8+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional projects, data & reporting and category/product support roles. Change management a plus. Strong excel/BI data & tracking; PPT skills. Strong analytical skills with experience in portfolio planning, data visualization, and reporting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; highly detail-oriented. Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams in a dynamic, matrixed environment.Preferred: Familiarity with consumer device sales channels and assortment
