Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus, the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis.Job SummaryThe Classroom Aide supports the lead teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and faith-filled learning environment for students. The aide assists with instructional activities, classroom management, and student supervision while helping to foster the Catholic identity and values of the school.Job ResponsibilitiesAssist the teacher with classroom instruction and activities.Support individual or small group learning under teacher guidance.Help maintain an organized and clean classroom environment.Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, and recess.Reinforce positive behavior and the school’s Catholic values.Prepare instructional materials and classroom resources.Assist with clerical duties as needed (e.g., copying, filing).Participate in staff meetings and trainings as required.Job RequirementsExperience working with children in an educational setting preferred.Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively with teachers and staff.Patience, kindness, and a positive attitude.Willingness to support and uphold the Catholic identity of the school.The Archdiocese of St. Louis is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
