Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement industrial automation solutions, including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems. Program and configure Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) for manufacturing processes. Integrate and program robotic systems, machine vision, and other advanced automation technologies. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues with existing automation equipment and control systems. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and software specifications. Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to identify automation opportunities and improve process efficiency. Implement data acquisition and reporting systems to monitor process performance and support continuous improvement initiatives. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Allen-Bradley) and SCADA/HMI development. Experience with industrial robotics integration and programming (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB). Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP) and data acquisition. Ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot machine vision systems for quality control and guidance. Solid knowledge of industrial sensors, actuators, and motion control systems. Bonus Qualifications Experience with advanced vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) or collaborative robotics. Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or SQL for manufacturing data analysis. Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) integration. Exposure to Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platforms or cloud-based automation solutions.
