CNC Machinist Elk River, MN, US Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Horizontal Mill Machinist to join our team. The role involves performing setups, edits, and offsets, and operating CNC Horizontal Mill Machines with Fanuc Controls. You will be machining exotic plastics and metals primarily for the medical and semiconductor industries. Our company specializes in short-run and prototype work, along with some long-run projects. Responsibilities + Perform setups, edits, and offsets on CNC Horizontal Mill Machines with Fanuc Controls. + Operate CNC Horizontal Mill Machines efficiently and accurately. + Machine exotic plastics and metals for the medical and semiconductor industries. + Work on short-run and prototype projects, as well as occasional long-run projects. Essential Skills + Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in setting up, editing, and operating CNC Mill Machines. + At least 2 years of experience working with medical, aerospace, or semiconductor industry tolerances. + A minimum of 1 year of experience in horizontal milling. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with Mori-seiki machines is a plus. + Proficiency in program edits and setup for CNC Mill Machines. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is very clean and open, with a recently expanded facility that includes a brand new clean room. The position operates on the 1st Shift, from 6 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elk River, MN.
