Job Responsibilities u2022 Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production packets (Production sheets and recipes). u2022 Direct daily activities. u2022 Maintains food production that ensures the safety and quality of food according to policies, procedures, and department requirements. u2022 Ensure that food items are stored in a safe, organized, and hazard-free environment. u2022 Maintain all serving schedules; ensure that all food items are served per menu specifications in a safe and appropriate manner following Aramark policies and procedures. u2022 Maintain a sanitary department following health and safety codes and regulations. u2022 Maintain accurate inventory on a weekly basis. u2022 May prepare orders as needed to ensure accurate production for location. u2022 Supervise and evaluate employees; counsel; promote employee growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork. u2022 Maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment. u2022 Train/mentor other food service workers. u2022 Maintain logs on all maintenance required on equipment within the department. u2022 Ensure all food safety/temperature logs are completed with appropriate corrective action, as necessary. u2022 Perform preventative maintenance checklist. u2022 Recommend replacement of existing equipment to meet needs of facility. u2022 Proficiency in multi-tasking. u2022 Perform other duties as requested by the Food Service Director or Manager whenever his/her skill and/or experience would be vital to initiate, coordinate, or complete any given program. u2022 Must fill in for absent employees at location, as necessary. u2022 Maintain knowledge of daily catering events and confirm they are prepared and delivered on time. u2022 Be able to work occasional night and weekend catered events. u2022 Attend food service meetings with staff. u2022 Maintain communication with staff (including office staff, e-mail, phone calls, inter-office mail, etc). u2022 May perform cashier duties as the need arises. u2022 Promote good public relations.
