Job Title: Ambulatory Care RN Location: Syracuse, NY Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift (5×8-hour shifts) Schedule: Monday-Friday | 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Hours per Week: 40 Position Overview A reputable healthcare organization is seeking an Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time contract assignment within an outpatient clinical setting. The RN will provide patient-centered care, support clinical operations, and ensure high-quality service delivery in accordance with professional standards. Key Responsibilities Provide nursing care in an outpatient/ambulatory care environment. Conduct patient assessments, obtain medical histories, and document clinical data accurately. Administer medications and perform clinical procedures within RN scope of practice. Assist with treatments, diagnostic testing, and coordination of patient flow. Support physicians and advanced practice providers during examinations and minor procedures. Educate patients and families regarding health conditions, medications, and follow-up care. Maintain patient safety, uphold infection-control standards, and follow all clinical protocols. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care. Perform other nursing duties as assigned based on departmental needs. Requirements Active New York State RN License (Required). Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience (Ambulatory Care or outpatient preferred). Current BLS certification (Required). Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
