With a focus on safety, service, and results, you’ll lead daily operations, support your team, and drive business success. If you're a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, this is your opportunity to grow with a company that values hard work and dedication.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Efficiency Management Direct and coordinate overall operations to ensure maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.Plan, develop, and implement operational policies across warehousing, transportation, and customer service.Design and manage a central dispatch system for improved logistics and workflow.Outline and implement operational changes and continuous improvement initiatives.Monitor and manage operating budgets for warehouse, manufacturing, and trucking.Compliance, Facility & Resource Management Ensure trucking operations comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.Oversee warehouse conditions, equipment, and storage utilization.Coordinate with purchasing and receiving to ensure accurate and timely product arrivals.Maintain communication with vendors on issues such as missing materials, backorders, and delivery challenges.Customer Relations & Quality Assurance Ensure delivery of high-quality products and services to customers.Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.Represent the company professionally in all customer and vendor interactions.Technology & ConfidentialityResearch and implement technologies to enhance operational competitiveness.Maintain confidentiality of sensitive business information, including personnel, pricing, customer data, and distribution methods.SafetyFollow all safety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements to maintain a safe working environment.Adheres to all driving regulations based on state and/or jurisdiction policies such as wearing a seatbelt.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.Use proper lifting techniques.Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes and clothing.Physical Requirements Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation, grasping and manipulation. Frequent driving or sitting in a truck, forklift or other similar equipment for multiple hours a day. Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying approximately 25-80 lbs. utilizing proper lifting procedures.Must understand and be able to use miscellaneous tools and equipment, including but not limited to: dollies, flat carts, and rock carts.Additional physical requirements may be needed as duties are assigned.Miscellaneous Support our values in the stated areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, integrity and being a Company of Choice for both employees and customers.Other duties as assigned. QualificationsKnowledge of basic construction materials and optimal product distribution.Bachelor’s degree in management or related field or equivalent experience.At least 2+ years of management experienceExcellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to lead and build a team, along with motivating and leading a successful team.Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Products.Knowledgeable in building materials industry.Reports ToBranch ManagerCompensation The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost of living in the assigned market.
