Our Core Values of Safety, Customer Commitment, Teamwork, Integrity, and Excellence serve as the foundation of our success, driving superior service and trusted partnerships throughout the industry.Position OverviewAs a Production Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to support the Scheduler Manager in scheduling tasks as needed. This includes creating schedules for various production departments, compiling reports, finalizing jobs, and collaborating with production staff to ensure timely order processing. You'll also assist the Production Planning department, gaining a deep understanding of the production process, plant procedures, equipment capabilities, and material flow. Close coordination with Inventory, Distribution, and Purchasing Teams is essential. In this role, you'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, adeptly multitasking and providing swift solutions to production challenges. Given the reliance on software for report generation and scheduling, proficiency with computers is a must.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Coordination & PlanningAssist the Scheduling Manager in planning, prioritizing, and performing production-related activities.Schedule and manage production activities to meet manufacturing goals in a timely and cost-effective manner.Assist in developing production plans and schedules to ensure continuous workflow and minimal downtime.Issue Resolution & Process ImprovementIdentify production issues, analyze root causes, and support development of effective resolutions.Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency and overall productivity.Communicate complex production concerns to the Manager for immediate resolution.Quality & Customer SupportEnsure manufactured products meet customer specifications and quality standards.Support customer satisfaction by addressing concerns professionally and promptly.Assist with generating production-related reports for the Manager and customers as neededAdministrative SupportMaintain accurate logs, files, and post-production documentation.Operate office equipment for photocopying, printing, emailing, and related administrative tasks.Provide regular production updates and error reporting to the Manager.MiscellaneousSupport our values in the stand areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and being a Company of Choice for both employees and customers.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent (Required)Experience in Production Planning, Logistics, or related functions within a manufacturing environment.Proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteFamiliarity with ERP systems is requiredAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle shifting priorities and deadlines.Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong initiative, self-direction, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and composure.CompensationThe listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost of living in the assigned market.
