Summary: Safely and effectively lead shift materials team to ensure product flow is effectively distributed throughout the plant and local Distribution Centers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for directing the work assignments of a team of lift truck operators and carrier driversDrives a culture of safe work practicesDrive team oriented environment Execute standard work to ensure production materials are replenished to ensure continuous operationsEffectively communicate daily priorities (daily meetings, one on one engagements, Tier Meetings, etc.)Coordinate/collaborate warehouse operations with all departments.Perform daily audits (Safety, warehouse, forklifts, line inventories, etc.)Provide supervisory support, as neededProvide forklift training for new hires and re-certifications as needed.Support the Inventory Team as needed.Supports the receipt of railcar/bulk truck material.
