Payroll Manager

Description Payroll Manager opportunity available with well-respected LI service company. This role will have you responsible for processing weekly, multi-state, certified payroll with the support of a terrific team, with a company that offers a generous compensation and benefits package. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage end-to-end payroll processing & operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing for 200+ employees. u2022 Oversee multi-state payroll and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. u2022 Administer prevailing wage and certified payroll processes, maintaining proper union documentation and reporting. u2022 Ensure accurate calculation and reporting of payroll taxes and deductions. u2022 Prepare and distribute W-2 forms and other year-end payroll documentation. u2022 Lead and mentor the payroll team, fostering growth and efficiency. u2022 Ensure compliance with all payroll-related laws and regulations, including tax filings and reporting. u2022 Collaborate with internal departments to address payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies Requirements u2022 Minimum of 7 years of experience in payroll management, including full-cycle payroll. u2022 Proven expertise in handling multi-state payroll operations. u2022 Familiarity with prevailing wage and certified payroll processes. u2022 Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations and reporting requirements. u2022 Experience working with union payroll systems and agreements. u2022 Proficiency in managing payroll for mid-sized teams ranging from 101-500 employees. u2022 Solid understanding of payroll tools and systems, within an in-house processing environment. u2022 Excellent leadership and communication skills with a focus on team development.
