Job Description

1) AV Systems Troubleshooting - Expertise in diagnosing and resolving issues with audiovisual systems 2) Network & Control System Integration - Hands-on experience with networked AV devices 3) Installation & Preventative Maintenance - Skilled in cable pulling, soldering, crimping connectors, and mounting AV hardware Description u2022 Manage and maintain the AV Support Desk ticket queue u2022 Respond with u201ctriageu201d via phone or remote support for our customers at the on-set of a support call u2022 Dispatch yourself and/or related AV resources to customer site to resolve reported issues u2022 Work with regional AV Project Managers and Practice Leader to identify and dispatch resources to customer sites that are out of Albany region u2022 Manage project documentation and data related to completed AV projects so it is available for support as needed u2022 Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints u2022 Perform preventative maintenance visits to help maintain a stable client-based system as needed u2022 Clean various AV equipment including but not limited to camera lenses, monitors and equipment fans as needed u2022 Take responsibility to accurately complete job documentation as needed u2022 Field installation of control programs (Crestron/Firmware) u2013 upload and download capability with remote support u2022 Field service support of networked devices (Routers, IP Protocols, etc.) u2022 Perform service tasks in a timely and quality conscious manner including but not limited to pulling cable, installing connectors, mounting projectors and hanging ceiling mounts u2022 Provide necessary training and support for next level service technicians u2022 Provide end-user client training as needed u2022 Adhere to and understand OSHA standards for all phases of the job u2022 Setup and troubleshoot various video codecs/video teleconferencing systems u2022 Travel to various job sites required regionally u2022 Other duties assigned as needed Required Skills: u2022 Effectively communicate with employees, customers and colleagues u2022 Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner u2022 Ability to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines u2022 Basic computer knowledge u2022 Knowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video and control u2022 Ability to manage small to medium projects u2022 Ability to solder & crimp connectors u2022 Valid Driveru2019s License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL driving standards u2022 Minimum of 3 years of audiovisual integration and/or support experience u2022 Formal education in technology or related field preferred u2022 Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Additional Skills & Qualifications + Preferred external training: OSHA 10-Hour, Avixa (InfoComm) CTS, Crestron Programming, Exton AV Associate Certification. + Experience with Biamp, Shure, Crestron, and other various DSP manufacturers, Experience with various UC integration platforms (Zoom/Teams/WebEx) + Experience troubleshooting and configuring web calling peripherals such as Neat, Logitech, BYOD systems, etc. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Saratoga Springs, NY.
