Material Handler

Express Employment has partnered with a local Ames, IA company seeking an additional Material Handler to join their team! The main responsibility of this position will be to process orders throughout the warehouse. This position is full-time and long term, starting at $16/hr. The ideal candidate will be motivated, have a strong work ethic, and will have great customer service skills! Environment: This is a 1st shift schedule, Monday-Friday (Flexible Hours!) As a leading global supplier for various components and manufacturing equipment, this company is looking for an individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Duties: Pick and pack product for orders. Preparing orders for shipment and assisting in warehouse. Lifting up to 40lbs. Input data into database Perform mechanical inspection on equipment such as calipers and gauges. Skills/Experience Needed: Forklift is preferred but not required. Prior customer service skills. Knowledge of and ability to follow established safety procedures and practices.
