Maintenance Manager

NOW HIRING: Maintenance Manager Location: Fruitland, IDType: Full-Time | Express Employment Professionals is seeking a hands-on, solutions-driven Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance team at a well-established production facility in the Fruitland area. What You’ll Be Doing As the Maintenance Manager, you’ll oversee all maintenance operations—from planning and budgeting to managing contractors and ensuring peak equipment performance. You’ll play a key role in maintaining plant reliability, efficiency, and safety. Schedule Monday - Friday, with occasional weekend work Shift rotation includes: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM Salary: $90,000 per year Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the maintenance department Ensure equipment operates efficiently and meets quality standards Manage budgets and oversee capital improvement projects Coordinate and evaluate contractor services Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and manage vendor relationships Ensure proper staffing, training, and skill development Identify and implement process improvements Troubleshoot daily maintenance issues Enforce safety standards and procedures Manage and execute the preventative maintenance program Supervision This role directly supervises: One Maintenance Supervisor One PSM Coordinator/Technician Qualifications Required: Strong leadership and communication skills Experience in maintenance within a manufacturing or food production environment Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities Familiarity with GMP standards and food industry regulations Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic database systems Physically able to navigate all areas of the facility (stairs, varied temperatures) Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in engineering Bilingual in English/Spanish Benefits Starting Day One Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401(k) Paid Holidays Referral Bonuses Apply Today Choose the method that works best for you: Online: Call: (208) 452-4864 In-Person: 211 N.
