DescriptionA Brief OverviewThe Grants & Contracts Specialist I will be responsible for the initial review of contracts and will be responsible for negotiations for Clinical Trial Agreements with assigned Departments within the UHCMC Clinical Research Center.What You Will DoReviews submitted grants and contracts, including budgets, of protocols for basic research studies with the assistance of the Law Department. 50%Coordinates with Research Finance and research department to ensure fiscally responsible negotiated non-complex lower value sponsor research budgets. 30%Assures the timely processing of administration of UHC protocols and grants. 10%Maintains accurate administrative records including database entries. 10?ditional ResponsibilitiesPerforms other duties as plies with all policies and standards.For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
