The Lockheed Martin Space E&T business area is seeking an experienced Project Engineering Manager, Asc to support and manage a team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Project Engineers. The selected candidate will lead the team in the development of new business proposals for Ground Support Equipment (GSE) for various customers across Space Lines of Business (LOBs). The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining and building relationships with key stakeholders, including Product Center, AI&T, Operations, and GSE Talent Centers. Additionally, they will coordinate new business activities across Space LOBs and ensure the delivery of high-quality GSE products. Key Responsibilities: u2022 Maintain and build relationships with Product Center, AI&T, Operations, and GSE Talent Centers to ensure effective communication and collaboration u2022 Coordinate new business activities within the Space LOBs, including identifying opportunities, develop and validate BOEs, generate Top level Plans and support EPPs. u2022 Guide and manage a team of Project Engineers and SMEs for GSE production, including Mechanical Ground Support Equipment, Electrical Ground Support Equipment, and Special Test Equipment u2022 Implement strategies for GSE estimating processes, reduce costs, and enhance quality of BOEs u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that GSE products meet customer requirements and are properly estimated to be delivered on time and within budget u2022 Ability to think systemically, considering the entire project lifecycle and all interconnected components, to drive comprehensive and accurate end-to-end estimating. u2022 Develop schedules, and resource allocation plans for GSE New Business. Basic Qualifications: u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree or higher in engineering or a related field u2022 Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance u2022 Experience with new business activities and proposal development u2022 Experience with writing BOEs and justifications u2022 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects and tasks u2022 Experience in using project management tools, such as MS Project or similar u2022 Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills Desired Skills: u2022 Experience in the aerospace or defense industry u2022 Current Top Secret clearance either DOD or TS/SCI with poly u2022 Experience in working with GSE Talent Centers, Production Operations and AI&T. u2022 Strong knowledge of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) production, attest in one area: Mechanical, Electrical, or Special Test Equipment u2022 Experience with GenBoe tool. u2022 Experience presenting to Senior Executives, VPs and Directors. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidateu2019s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
