Among the key duties of this position are the following: Guides, leads and instructs a group of custodians. Maintains and distributes supplies and equipment. Fills in during foreperson’s absence. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and read, write and speak English. Certifications/Licenses Valid driver’s license, two years driving experience, and the successful completion of the Rutgers Defensive Driving Course. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must be able to read and write. Have custodial experience and a knowledge of operating all equipment used. Must have the ability to teach others how to perform custodial duties. Preferred Qualifications Equipment Utilized Needs to be proficient in operating floor machines, shampooers and vacuums. Physical Demands and Work Environment Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds while climbing stairs. Special Conditions Shift hours/Schedule: Wednesday- Sunday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM weekdays, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM weekends Clean driving Record
