Description Job Description Position Title: Machine Operator I Position Type:Non - Exempt Location (Facility): VictaulicJustin TXManufacturing Reports to (Position Title): ProductionSupervisor Responsibilities: Learn andExecuteelements ofSafe Machine Operation involving the B-25 Band Saw, Shot Blaster, and268 &414 Groover.Perform in-process inspections including dimensional verification andsurface prep; performadditionalinspectionspertaining toproductspecification.Maintain records of inspections and resultspertaining tojobs.Verifyfinished product’sdimensions and their conformance with drawings, work order specifications.Verify propercalibration of all inspection instruments and gaugesfor workstation.Know and understand how to properly navigate Medix per job/plete all daily checklists and TPM’s.Ensure all area 5S dutiesare gettingcompleted. Communicate and interact withLine Leads and ShiftSupervisorson maintenance issues needed with the machinery.Qualifications (education, experience, skills, personal attributes): High School DiplomaExperience in a manufacturing/steel fabrication environmentis puter literacy of Microsoft Windows softwareis preferred.Familiarity with SWI/SOP processes.Good understanding of shop math (fraction to decimal) and ability to read tape measure,and measuring tools (caliper, micrometers, vernier scale)preferred.Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprintsdesired.Good written and oral communication skillsrequired.Goodproblem solvingcapabilitiesdesired.Must be able to work independently, efficiently and be self-motivated and detail oriented.
