Kettering Health Dayton | Dayton | Full-Time | First ShiftJob ResponsibilitiesThe Angiography Technologist will be an individual capable of assisting the physician during cardiac or peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, pacemakers and ICDs. He or she must possess the ability to perform radiographic work on several different types of radiographic equipment so that all work is completed in a competent, timely and efficient manner. He or she will assist with patient care and safety while the patient is in the Cardiac Cath or EP lab environment.Long periods of standing are required with the use of lead aprons.The Angiography Technologist will be responsible for rotating call for emergency procedures with a 30 minute response time if employed in the Cardiac Cath Lab.Job RequirementsGraduation from an accredited Radiology Program Current certification with ARRT in diagnostic radiologyPossesses a current license as a State of Ohio RadiologyBLS certificationACLS certification required within six months of hire1 year recent hospital angiographic interventional experienceCath Lab experienced preferred but not requiredLive withing 30 minutes from hospital for call requirementWill consider new graduates Interventional Rad Tech, Interventional Radiology Technologist, Angio Tech, Special Procedures Technologist, Cath Lab Tech, Angiography Technologist, Rad TechKettering Health is a not-for-profit system of 13 medical centers and more than 120 outpatient facilities serving southwest Ohio.
