LTC Pharmacist-Collaborative Pharmacy Services

Outpatient Services | Miamisburg | Full-Time | Varied ShiftThe LTC Pharmacist is responsible for assisting with total operations of Collaborative Pharmacy Services. This includes technician supervision, order entry verification, review, approval, unit dosing, and packaging of unit dose boxes. Other duties as assigned.Job RequirementsMinimum EducationGraduate from an accredited school of pharmacyRequired Licenses[Ohio, United States] PharmacistCurrent registered Pharmacist license for the State of OhioRequired SkillsKnowledge of drug treatment, interaction, and administration. Knowledge of drug compounding Ability to interact professionally with patients, medical staff, and third party payers Ability to supervise others Excellent oral and written communication skills Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices Organizational skills Long Term Care Pharmacy experience is a plus Knowledge of controlled substance regulations Basic computer skills - Ability to use Microsoft OfficeEssential FunctionsVerification of orders, ensuring accuracy and clinical appropriateness Verification of packaged medications Provide customers with excellence customer service Oversee duties of Pharmacy Technician Schedule will include a combination of first and second shift hours / weekend coverage will also be requiredKettering Health is a not-for-profit system of 13 medical centers and more than 120 outpatient facilities serving southwest Ohio.
