Job Description

Sierra Lobo, offers customers a full range of professional and technical capabilities, including Test and Evaluation, Systems Engineering, and Advanced Technologies. We also develop products and processes related to Cryogenic Fluid and Thermal Management Systems, Densified Propellant Management Systems, and Prototype Extreme Pressure and Temperature Systems. Our customers include the Department of Defense (DoD), the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).This is a full-time direct-hire position located at or near our Hoover Road facility in Milan, Ohio. The successful applicant will work closely for an extended duration with more senior personnel to gain knowledge and skills applicable to their field while supporting the reactivation and operation of a world-class government-owned aerospace research and test facility.ResponsibilitiesFabricate, install, modify, maintain/repair a wide variety of electrical systems such as:Low voltage AC power systemsDC power systemsPLCsRaceway and Conduit SystemsIllumination/lightingField Instrumentation and wiringUnderstanding P & ID and Electrical DrawingsUnderstanding and working with Digital MultimetersBreakers, switches, relays, starters, and field devicesPerform:Troubleshooting and repair of complex, existing electromechanical systemsWire crimping and terminationControl System maintenanceWork with devices such as valve limit switches, pressure transducers, valve control loops, vacuum and flow switches, proximity detectors, flame and combustible gas detectors, photocells, thermocouples, transducers, etc.QualificationsRequires comprehension of:NFPA 70 “National Electric Code”NFPA 70E “Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace”OSHA StandardsIEEE StandardsExperience with ISO9001:2000 or AS91000 Quality SystemsRead and interpret electrical drawings, sketches, and technical documentationBasic Qualifications:Associate of Applied Science Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalentMinimum of three (3) years of experience in a related fieldMust be a US Citizen
