Job Title: Clinic Nurse (Gyn Oncology) Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinic Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients, collaborating with healthcare providers, and ensuring a high standard of patient care. Responsibilities + Monitor and record patient vital signs, including height, weight, allergies, and medication changes. + Gather comprehensive patient histories and interpret lab results. + Obtain blood specimens and support healthcare providers in creating, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans. + Maintain accurate documentation for assigned patient care. + Answer phone calls for referrals and schedule patient tests, procedures, and hospital admissions. + Schedule appointments to follow-up on receipt of test results. + Perform administrative duties such as typing, filing, faxing, and reception. Essential Skills + 3+ years of experience as a Nurse. + MUST HAVE experience in Gynecology. + Texas State Board of Nursing License. + Proficiency in oncology nursing, medical terminology, and customer service. + Strong administrative skills, including knowledge of electronic medical records and electronic health records. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be self-sufficient. + Critical thinking skills. + Detail-oriented with a positive attitude and a team player mentality. Work Environment This position offers a supportive and collaborative work environment with a focus on team building and culture. Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, or until the last patient is seen, with no weekend work required. Employees accrue 5 hours of PTO per pay period and have access to a 401K with a 3% match, as well as two different insurance plans. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Katy, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $47.00/hr.
