We partner with our Nurses at HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital Job Summary and Qualifications What qualifications you will need: + Recognize and address urgent and emergent surgical situation + Foster continuity and quality of care in the best interests of patients + Assess and monitor patientsu2019 medical status while in the OR + Assess patientu2019s condition and monitor vitals, providing general nursing care + Ensure the Operating Room is prepared with all necessary supplies, implants, instrumentation, and equipment + Keep the operating room sterilized + Review charts for completeness, in accordance with documentation protocols + Communicate effectively with patients, teammates, and physicians to ensure continuity of care Requirements: + Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation. + BLS-AHA Provider issued cardrequiredwithin30 days of start + Minimum1 year previous perioperative experience or completion of Perioperative Nursing course preferred + 1 year of RN experience in an Acute Care environment preferred + BLS, ACLS,PALS (AHA Healthcare provider)required + CNOR preferred Benefits HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
