Description Our client is looking for a dedicated and experienced Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team in St. Paul, Minnesota. This role requires expertise in Workers' Compensation law and a strong commitment to providing exceptional support in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will excel in managing litigation processes, ensuring accuracy, and meeting critical deadlines. Responsibilities: u2022 Provide comprehensive support to attorneys throughout all stages of Workers' Compensation litigation. u2022 Manage case files, ensuring all documentation is organized and deadlines are consistently met. u2022 Conduct legal research and assist with drafting and reviewing legal documents. u2022 Coordinate discovery processes, including gathering and organizing evidence and documentation. u2022 Prepare for trials by organizing exhibits, summarizing depositions, and assisting with trial logistics. u2022 Utilize case management software to track case progress and manage relevant data efficiently. u2022 Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth case handling. u2022 Ensure compliance with legal procedures and filing requirements for Workers' Compensation cases. u2022 Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless workflow and adherence to best practices. u2022 Translate documents or communicate with clients in Spanish, if fluent, to enhance service delivery. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in Workers' Compensation law. u2022 Strong proficiency in discovery, civil litigation processes, and trial preparation. u2022 Familiarity with case management software and other legal tools. u2022 Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. u2022 Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. u2022 Reliable attendance and availability to work full scheduled hours. u2022 Fluency in Spanish and English is a significant advantage. u2022 Solid understanding of legal procedures and filing requirements in Workers' Compensation cases.
