Lab Technician

Job Title: Lab TechnicianJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to join our team. This role involves preparing samples, assisting technologists with testing, and conducting routine analyses on raw materials, ingredients, and finished products to support research and development initiatives. Responsibilities + Prepare samples for testing and assist technologists with various testing procedures. + Conduct routine analyses on raw materials, ingredients, and finished products to support R&D initiatives. + Maintain accurate records of experiments, test results, and operational data. + Support pilot plant and production trials by preparing materials and monitoring processes. Essential Skills + Experience in a laboratory setting, academic experience is acceptable. + Proficiency in following laboratory standard operating procedures (SOPs). + Experience with pipetting and small-scale laboratory processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Background in Chemistry or related laboratory experience. Work Environment This position involves working in a laboratory environment where you will utilize various laboratory equipment and techniques. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bridgewater, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
