The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all quality related documentation and testing. This comprehensive position involves preparing, reviewing, and maintaining accurate quality records, as well as inspecting materials, processes, and finished products to ensure they meet the processes and standards of high-performance composite structures and components for racing vehicles, industrial, aerospace, and defense. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless documentation flow while maintaining structural integrity, performance, and safety of composite componentswithin the purview of quality assurance systems.Key Responsibilities:- Documentation Management: Prepare, review, maintain, and update quality related documentation- Inspection and Testing: Perform inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products according to established standards.- Compliance and Standards: Fulfill job duties in accordance with AS9100, NADCAP, and FAA specifications.- Attention to Detail: Proficiency in written and verbal communication. A keen eye for detail, and a commitment to excellence.- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and project managers.Qualifications:- Education: - High School Diploma or Equivalent.- Experience: - 2+ years of experience in AS9100 Quality Control/Quality Assurance, documentation management preferably in the aerospace or racing industry. - Strong knowledge in testing and inspection methods in accordance with AS9100 standards- Skills: - Complex Problem Solving Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. - Excellent communication and documentation skills. - Critical Thinking Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. - Ability to manage multiple projects, work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and meet deadlines.- Physical Requirements: - Comfortable working in manufacturing environments. - Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.Benefits:- Competitive salary- Health, dental, and vision insurance- IRA with company match- Paid time off and holidays- Flexible work scheduleAbout Us:Aerodine Composites is a forward-thinking, composite products business committed to partnering with its customers to provide advanced material solutions.
