Position Overview The Manager, Salesforce, is responsible for the successful operation, strategic direction, and ongoing enhancement of Pewu2019s Salesforce platform. This role ensures the platform aligns with organizational priorities, supports stakeholder engagement, and drives adoption of emerging technologies to meet business needs. This position requires initiative, independent judgment, and the ability to manage technical operations and projects across programmatic and operational areas. This position is based in Pewu2019s Washington, DC office and reports to the Director, Application Operations, Information Technology. This position participates in Pewu2019s hybrid work program with core days in the office and the flexibility to telework the remaining days. Staff also enjoy four telework u201cflex weeksu201d per year. Responsibilities u00b7 Serve as the platform owner for Salesforce, ensuring alignment with Pewu2019s business needs through collaboration and effective stakeholder management. u00b7 Lead Salesforce governance, determining optimal engagement strategies for stakeholders. u00b7 Build and maintain platform roadmaps, aligning emerging technology with business needs and prioritizing incoming requests for value and impact. Measure the impact of initiatives to support overall platform efficiency. u00b7 Provide guidance to stakeholders and senior leadership on technical solutions to business challenges and opportunities. u00b7 Manage staff, assign tasks, review performance, and lead team meetings. u00b7 Ensure work aligns with IT priorities and supports overall IT initiatives. u00b7 Manage contracts, vendor relationships, and budget planning for Salesforce-related activities. u00b7 Other duties as assigned. Requirements u00b7 Generally requires a minimum of 8 years of professional experience, including staff, project, and/or consultant management experience. Including four or more years of hands-on experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms; a bacheloru2019s degree or equivalent experience required u00b7 Two or more years of direct supervisory experience, including performance management. u00b7 Demonstrated success in operations or project management roles, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. u00b7 Experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and delivering systems support strategy. u00b7 Strong communication and interpersonal skills. u00b7 Salesforce certification preferred (Administrator, App Builder, Architect, etc.). u00b7 Experience in nonprofit or advocacy-driven organizations preferred. Travel Occasional travel required between Pewu2019s main Philadelphia and Washington, DC offices, and smaller remote offices. Minimal additional travel required to attend trainings, seminars or conferences. Salary Range $143,300 USD - $160,100 USD The salary range represents a reasonable estimate of the annual salary based on Pewu2019s commitment to provide equitable and market-competitive pay. The actual salary offered will take into consideration many factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills and experience, internal pay equity, and business need.
