Description Now providing a $2,000 sign-on bonusfor new Therapist colleagues Ask a recruiter about the bonus andpayout Lutheran Social Services of WI and Upper MI (LSS) is looking fora full-time, benefit eligible Therapist - In Training to work withchildren, adults and families in community settings with our FamilyPreservation Program Referrals come from county CCS programs, countyChildren Protective Services programs, and the Department of Corrections(DOC). Our therapists meet with children, adults, and families incommunity settings, including the home, and school to literally andfiguratively meet the client where they are at. This position will beproviding mental health and substance use treatment to clients we aresupporting. All services provided require the use of counseling skillsand treatment practices to help clients overcome barriers related basedon the client's individual needs. All work, travel and documentationtime is compensable. As a therapist in training or licensed therapistwith Family Preservation Services/CCS you will: Provide in-home familytherapy services to adult or youth clients and their families. Conductassessments of client needs using clinical interview, objectivediagnostic tools. Develop treatment plan collaboratively with client andother providers Provide agreed upon and necessary therapeutic services,keeping with strength-based, evidence-based best practice Completerequired documentation within required timelines Attend client recoveryteam meetings Actively participate in clinical supervision EDUCATIONand/or EXPERIENCE Master's degree in Social Work with Mental Healthconcentration, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, orrelated program is required.
