Responsibilities: Overseeclient portfolios of various size and scope within the alternativeinvestment fund industry (private equity, real estate and/or hedgefunds) Act as the first point of contact for internal and externalclients Manage teams of tax professionals/assistants working on clientprojects Assess tax impact on clients of rules and law changes, developtax arguments to support conclusions and make recommendations to clientsFacilitate risk and financial performance of engagements, includingbilling, collections, and the budget for projects Deliver high qualitytax services to clients Qualifications: Minimum five years of recent taxexperience in the alternative investment industry Bachelor's degreefrom an accredited college/university; Licensed CPA, EA or JD/LLM, inaddition to others on KPMG's approved credential listing; anyindividual who does not possess at least one of the approveddesignations/credentials when their employment commences, has one yearfrom their date of hire to obtain at least one of the approveddesignations/credentials; should you like to see the complete list ofcurrently approved designations/credentials for the hiringpractice/service line, your recruiter can provide you with that listProficient in the taxation of partnerships and tiered investment fundstructures Excellent verbal and written communication skills with theability to articulate complex...
