JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Description: The Medical College ofWisconsin's Department of Department of Radiology is seeking a NursePractitioner or Physician Assistant to provide primary and specialtymedical care within defined scope of practice under the supervision of alicensed physician and in accordance with MCW/FMLH/CHW policies andprocedures. The Department of Radiology prides itself on the delivery ofworld-class diagnostic and interventional radiology services. We usestate-of-the-art imaging equipment, and our faculty radiologists arenational leaders in the development and use of new imaging technologieslocated in Milwaukee, WI at Froedtert Hospital & Froedtert HospitalCommunity Sites. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) works as a memberof a multidisciplinary health care team who will contribute toexcellence in program administration, patient care, patient safety,research, quality improvement, and teaching. The Ideal Candidate will bea Radiologic experienced APP with technical proficiency, collaborativet4eam player, and a passion for healthcare impact, wanting to be part ofa thriving and very collaborative academic practice at the MedicalCollege of Wisconsin (MCW). Areas of responsibility will include, butnot be limited to providing direct patient care to an adult patientpopulation in a blended environment. In this role you will: Collaboratewith interdisciplinary health care teams in diagnosis and treatment ofconditions requiring Radiologic intervention in blended environment as amember of the Radiology department. Perform advanced treatments and/orradiology procedures following verification of competency as indicatedby the radiology department. Collaborate with primary care providers,specialty care providers and/or inpatient providers, to providecomprehensive patient care. Participate in pre-procedural,intra-procedural and post-procedural patient care. Provide patient careas part of a multidisciplinary team in the department of radiology.Participate in activities that contribute to the education of healthcareprofessionals including, one on one education, group education,committee participation, formal presentations and/or publishing.Participate in the assessment, development, implementation andevaluation of quality improvement programs, standards of practice,patient education, policies and/or procedures. Act as preceptor/educatorfor PA students, NP students, medical students and/or residents andfellows. Report to Radiology APP Manager.
