34424BR Service Line: Environmental Office Name: New Orleans Job Description: Terracon is seeking an experienced Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager to join our Team in the Gulf Coast Region This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to lead regulatory compliance efforts in The Gulf Coast West region which includes the State of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. We are looking for someone with broad compliance experience that can mentor staff and build our regulatory compliance practice in the GCW Region to join our nationwide compliance team. We want to work with you Some of the compliance skills we are currently looking for include: u2022 Air permitting (Title V and minor source) u2022 Stormwater/SWPPP u2022 RCRA/Hazardous waste u2022 Compliance auditing u2022 Oil Storage/SPCC plans u2022 SARA Title III (Tier II/TRI) reporting u2022 Industrial wastewater/NPDES u2022 Sustainability/ESG To be successful in this role, you will need to be confident and possess a strong technical background with proven leadership skills. You will manage projects, prepare reports and other deliverables, and review documents prepared by others for accuracy, completeness, and quality following company standards. You will also develop client relationships and train, mentor, and direct staff on projects. You will serve as a local point of contact for Environmental Compliance services and provide support on regional and national projects and pursuits. Come explore with us Essential Roles and Responsibilities: u2022 Grow and expand existing environmental compliance services. u2022 Prepare calculations, applications, plans, reports, proposals, and other deliverables. u2022 Manage projects and staff to ensure quality and timeliness. u2022 Understand the local and regional market. u2022 Develop strong working relationships with clients. u2022 Develop proposals in response to RFPs and client requests. u2022 Participate in the development of local and regional marketing strategies. u2022 Support safety efforts to promote safety rules and guidelines. u2022 Evaluate problems and develop practical solutions that enable our clients to achieve and maintain compliance with environmental regulations. Requirements: u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in science or engineering (Masteru2019s degree preferred), u2022 Minimum 12+ years of experience in a full-time consulting role, Proven ability to engage and lead a team of technical staff and mentor their growth, u2022 Demonstrated high level of technical writing ability, u2022 Excellent analytical and communication skills, u2022 Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, u2022 Ability to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work and possess a positive attitude, u2022 Valid driveru2019s license with acceptable violation history, and u2022 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER and current 8-Hr refresher preferred.
