In addition to those expectations,the Milieu Manager will take a leadership role while reporting to theAssistant Director and Program Director. The Milieu Manager willmaintain a therapeutic environment within the residence, this includesmeeting the needs of the client in the following areas: safety, medical,emotional, food, clothing, and shelter; supervising ResidentialCounselors/Relief in those areas and providing support and training asneeded; maintain consistent manner in implementing reasonable limits andstructure for each client on a daily basis in the residence and in thecommunity. Duties and Responsibilities: To assure that applicable rules,policies and procedures are being followed on their shifts. To provideleadership to their shift. To implement each client's individual LevelPlan objectives under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor andProgram Supervisor. Ensure all necessary documentation for shift iscompleted accurately and submitted for review. To provide appropriate,safe responses to emergency situations when necessary. To developstrong, supportive relationships with the clients and employees. Toprovide for client care and safety, and observe all safety measures.Access, plan and implement crisis interventions with clients. To notifyProgram Director immediately in the event of a client crisis, suspectedillegal activity or any behavior constituting an incident in theprogram. To perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Directorand/or Program Director. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor?s degree inSocial Sciences or 2 years related field preferred. Demonstratesexcellent leadership skills; Prior supervisory experience. At least twoyears of experience in Human Services working with adolescents. Musthave valid driver's license; Must meet Agency requirements for drivinghistory records. Must pass a CORI within the standards identified byEEC. Must have availability of an automobile to transport clients orperform other supportive services as necessary. Bilingual Preferred(Spanish/English)
