If you’ve got a strong mechanical aptitude and a history of exceptional performance, you’ll thrive as a member of our team. A MECHANIC’S DAY-TO-DAY:Responsible for installing, maintaining, servicing and rebuilding mechanical pieces of equipment and rides to sustain specified safety and performance standardsConduct ride inspections on a daily basisAdhere to all safety policies and proceduresAssist other departments and trades personnel with any aspect of the park as assigned by direct supervisor or managerAssist in ordering materials for projects and assigned tasksAbility to work with minimal direction and supervisionAbility to comprehend blueprints and schematic diagrams, and follow manufacturer's specificationsExperience servicing maintenance equipment and systems (bearings, drives, lifts, gearboxes, chains, etc.)Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systemsMust provide own tools and some equipment related to mechanical tradesMaintain a clean and safe work environmentComply with all park policies, procedures, and labor lawWHAT IT TAKES:Skills:Communication - Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills,including presentation skills; ability to communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively with awide range of diverse personnelTime Management - Plan and manage tasks effectively while maintaining a steadfastcommitment to detail.Problem Solving/Analysis - Define problems, research and collect data, draw valid conclusions and execute remedial strategies in a timely mannerProject Management: Understand and manage projects from concept to completion.
