If so, then we would love to speak with you The Testbed & Simulation Product Line is a fast paced, highly dynamic, and growing organization of 120 people that play a vital role in providing mission-critical intelligence solutions by optimizing satellite constellations, processing data through its entire life cycle and developing reliable cutting-edge infrastructure for information dissemination across a global network and to 30+ Space programs. Within these programs, you will participate in the design, development, verification and deployment of complex new software and hardware simulation systems. The Tb&S (Testbed and Simulation) Software Product Line is seeking a highly motivated Hardware/Electronics Engineer with a strong interest in hardware design, test and software scripting. This position will support full project life cycles of testbed products, including Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWILs) testbeds. Duties will include but are not limited to teaming with the Tb&S Hardware Engineers for: u2022 System requirements understanding of our simulation products u2022 Understanding TB&S testbed architecture and developing signal channelization lists, wire diagrams, and top level designs u2022 Designing custom harness and cable designs u2022 Designing Custom Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA) u2022 Engineering Liaison with technicians during fabrication u2022 Troubleshooting design equipment u2022 Writing and executing Equipment Functional Checkout Procedures (EFCP) u2022 Collaboration across the different Tb&S teams and program teams u2022 Effectively communicate and coordinate with software/hardware leads within the Product Line. Basic Qualifications: Basic Qualifications : Basic Qualifications: u2022Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in a field related to Electronics Engineering, or equivalent experience with a strong foundation in electronics principles, theories, and practices, demonstrating expertise and knowledge comparable to a degree in the discipline. u2022 Minimum of 2 years professional experience in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline. u2022 Experience troubleshooting/debugging electronics. u2022 Experience using laboratory test equipment for hardware debugging, such as: oscilloscopes, digital multimeters and protocol analyzers. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Project, Word and Excel applications u2022 Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Desired Skills: u2022 Experience writing and executing test procedures. u2022 Electronic circuit design experience. u2022 Experience troubleshooting hardware, such as: cable setups, PWB/PCB, Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA) and a variety of electronic equipment. u2022 Experience with cable/harness design. u2022 Experience with electronic circuit design in areas such as analog, digital, microcontroller, Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), and/or power supply circuits. u2022 Experience developing software using text based languages, such as: Python, C/C++/C#, or Visual Basic. u2022 Experience with Unix/Linux environments. u2022 Experience with software configuration management tools such as Git or Subversion. u2022 Experience with Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) design and schematic design. u2022 Experience with PWB/PCB design. u2022 Experience generating a BOM (Bill of Materials) of required components/parts. u2022 Experience working with vendors for fabrication, assembly, and parts procurement. u2022 Experience in hardware/software integration and troubleshooting the integration. u2022 Experience with hardware development life cycle: requirements, design, development, integration, test, and maintenance. u2022 Willingness to learn new environments and work independently in a fast-paced development environment. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $70,100 - $123,625. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidateu2019s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $80,600 - $139,840.
